Don’t leave a vision for your children

Message summary

The Bible teaches that we should leave an inheritance for our children’s children. Many of us with entrepreneurial callings take this to mean that the business God has called us to build will be an inheritance for our children, who can then pass it on to their children. However, this is not quite the correct way to go about leaving an inheritance. When we leave our children a business, we are leaving them a vision. The problem with this is that the vision that God has given our children may be different than our vision. If our children attempt to run the business God has given us, then we are pulling them off their God-given path. Watch today’s Faith Chat to explore this idea more with me.
