Message summary & scripture references

Currently my family is moving to obtain a desire of our heart that we at the moment don’t have the financial resources to get. Because we don’t have the money in the bank to just go buy it, I was seeking God to determine if it was His will for us to walk in faith and go after this purchase.

His reply was, (phrasing) “You don’t need My permission. If you desire it, use your faith and go get it.”

Of course I was a little shocked because I thought I needed permission. However, after I analyzed this reply through the Word, I confirmed that I don’t need His permission to use my faith in this way.

Mark 11:23-24 KJV

[23] For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
[24] Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

James 4:1-4 KJV

[1] From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
[2] Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
[3] Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
[4] Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

John 15:7 KJV

[7] If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Romans 10:17 KJV

[17] So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Psalm 37:4 KJV

[4] Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
