Message summary & scripture references

The will of God doesn’t happen without help. It requires our participation and the participation of other people. This is a major revelation we must have so our faith doesn’t get thrown into turmoil if something “God said” doesn’t happen or is very slow to happen. Listen to today’s Daily Word to learn more about this concept.

Deuteronomy 30:19 NLT

[19] “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!

Mark 10:21-22 NKJV

[21] Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.”
[22] But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

Mark 7:13 NKJV

[13] making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do.”

Genesis 18:12 NLT

[12] So she laughed silently to herself and said, “How could a worn-out woman like me enjoy such pleasure, especially when my master—my husband—is also so old?””

Joshua 14:11-12 NLT

[11] I am as strong now as I was when Moses sent me on that journey, and I can still travel and fight as well as I could then.
[12] So give me the hill country that the Lord promised me. You will remember that as scouts we found the descendants of Anak living there in great, walled towns. But if the Lord is with me, I will drive them out of the land, just as the Lord said.

Genesis 2:19-20 NLT

[19] So the Lord God formed from the ground all the wild animals and all the birds of the sky. He brought them to the man[a] to see what he would call them, and the man chose a name for each one.
[20] He gave names to all the livestock, all the birds of the sky, and all the wild animals. But still there was no helper just right for him.
