Faith Chat summary and scripture references

As we approach the end of the end of the year, it’s a time when we evaluate whether or not we’ve achieved our goals for the year. If our goals are unmet it is easy to become depressed, which hinders us from setting goals for the next year. However, it is inevitable that along our entrepreneurial journey we will all have unmet goals.

In today’s Faith Chat, I am discussing how I handle not meeting my goals. I am sharing my response to unmet goals to give you food for thought on how you can approach your unmet goals.

1 Kings 17: 17-18, 20, 22 KJV

[17] And it came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so sore, that there was no breath left in him.
[18] And she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come unto me to call my sin to remembrance, and to slay my son?
[20] And he cried unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son?
[22] And the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.

Mark 8:22-24 NLT

[22] When they arrived at Bethsaida, some people brought a blind man to Jesus, and they begged him to touch the man and heal him.
[23] Jesus took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village. Then, spitting on the man’s eyes, he laid his hands on him and asked, “Can you see anything now?”
[24] The man looked around. “Yes,” he said, “I see people, but I can’t see them very clearly. They look like trees walking around.”
