Faith chat summary and scripture references

I have found that many believers are waiting for permission from a human authority figure (pastor, boss, parent, etc.) to follow the calling God has given them. Yes, we need counsel from other people, but not permission. The only permission you need is from the Holy Spirit.

Acts 13:2-3 KJV

[2] As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.
[3] And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.

Proverbs 15:22 ESV

[22] Without counsel plans fail, but with many advisers they succeed.
