Message summary & scripture references

Over the last two days, I have been teaching on the topic of “feeling like you need more time.” Today I am going to wrap up this topic by discussing the right motive behind desiring to quit your day job. Most Christians with entrepreneurial callings desire to quit their day job because they believe they need more time to put into their calling. However, this is the wrong motive for quitting. Listen to today’s message to see why this is the wrong way to think about it and to learn the correct motive.

Luke 14:28 KJV

[28] For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?

James 4:3 NKJV

[3] You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.

Psalm 37:4 ESV

[4] Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
