Message summary & scripture references

Once a month, I am led to remind you about the Word for 2019, “Radical Giving and Receiving”, so you can take full advantage of the harvest God has for you this year. Therefore, in today’s message, let’s look at the connection between receiving and expectation. You’ll discover that without expecting to receive from your giving, you are cutting off your harvest.

Hebrews 11:1 KJV

[1] Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

John 3:16-17 KJV

[16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
[17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Mark 4:26-29 NIV

[26] He also said, “This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground.
[27] Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how.
[28] All by itself the soil produces grain–first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head.
[29] As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.”

Romans 4:18-21 KJV

[18] Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
[19] And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb:
[20] He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
[21] And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

2 Peter 3:9 KJV

[9] The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Luke 6:38 KJV

[38] Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again
