Message summary & scripture references

To truly achieve great success, we must believe deep down in our hearts that we deserve success. If you feel you don’t deserve it, you will unconsciously sabotage your success and not have the necessary faith to receive success. The reason you deserve success is not because of what you did or didn’t do. Rather, it is because God loves you.

Romans 4:2-5 NLT

[2] If his good deeds had made him acceptable to God, he would have had something to boast about. But that was not God’s way.
[3] For the Scriptures tell us, “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.”
[4] When people work, their wages are not a gift, but something they have earned.
[5] But people are counted as righteous, not because of their work, but because of their faith in God who forgives sinners.

Genesis 1:26-27 KJV

[26] And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
[27] So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Genesis 3:21 KJV

[21] Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

John 3:16 KJV

[16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Genesis 3:8-10 KJV

[8] And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.
[9] And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
[10] And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

Luke 15:20-22 KJV

[20] And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
[21] And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
[22] But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:

Luke 15:28-31 KJV

[28] And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him.
[29] And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:
[30] But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.
[31] And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.

Hebrews 11:1 KJV

[1] Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
