In this week’s lesson, we are continuing our study of the Holy Spirit by teaching your children that the Holy Spirit has given them power. Below are our scriptures for this lesson. Throughout the week, go over these scriptures with your children.
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. – Acts 1:8 KJV
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, – Luke 4:18 KJV
