Online Children’s Church

We are picking up where we left off last week: the baptism of Holy Spirit. In today’s lesson, your children will learn that Holy Spirit equips them with power so they can be witnesses for Jesus and do His works.

Below are our scriptures for this lesson. Throughout the week, go over these scriptures with your children.

Luke 11:11-13 KJV

[11] If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
[12] Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
[13] If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Luke 24:49 KJV

[49] And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

To help reinforce today’s lesson, here are 7 review questions to ask your children.

  1. Will God give you what you ask for?
  2. Does God freely give us Holy Spirit?
  3. Holy Spirit is a what?
  4. What is the great commission?
  5. Holy Spirit equips us with what?
  6. In what city did the disciples have to wait to receive Holy Spirit?
  7. What do we need to do the works of Jesus?

We pray that this week’s message is a blessing to you and your children.
